Hi I'm Kate, and this is my dog Theo, who loves a photobomb! My journey into health and well-being began long before starting this business. I spent many years working as a chiropractor, helping people overcome pain, recover from injury, and improve their quality of life. Healthcare has always been at the heart of who I am, and I have a deep understanding of the physical and emotional impact that health challenges can have on everyday life.
Over the years, I experienced my own share of injuries, some might say I could write a book! One of which started with landing on my neck trampolining at just 14! However my life changed significantly in early 2021 the year after covid started when I developed, out of the blue, a rare condition neurologists called 'peripheral nerve hyperexcitabilty'. This caused the most difficult and uncertain period of my life. I was bed-bound for months (more will be said about this diagnosis and the symptoms on another page) Experiencing this illness with no explanation and no cure put me on a journey of learning first hand how important it is to feel listened to, supported, and empowered when facing health challenges. It also reinforced my belief that well-being is about far more than simply treating symptoms- it's about finding ways to live well, adapt, and thrive despite life's setbacks.

Whilst I still live with this condition, I am continuing to make steady progress and remain optimistic about making a full recovery. Along the way, I want to share my journey openly and honestly, in the hope that it may offer encouragement, understanding and hope to others facing their own health challenges.
Today, I bring together my professional healthcare background and my personal experiences to help others on their own journey. My aim is to provide a supportive, understanding, and compassionate service, built on genuine empathy and a real understanding of the challenges people can face. Through this website, I will also be sharing my own insights and experiences through regular blog posts. From dealing with 'gone wrong' root canals to not being able to walk because of leg weakness, shit gets real!! I hope to offer honest reflections, practical perspectives, and lessons learned along the way. No BS zone here!!
One of the most difficult aspects of my journey was feeling that the support I needed was often unavailable. I frequently felt dismissed and many times my symptoms were questioned as opposed to investigated, I had never been to a&e prior to this illness but went 4 times in that first year, with no answers everytime! So I took matters into my own hands and delved deeper into what could be causing it, turns out I wasn't alone. Many people that same year had come down with similar neurological symptoms unable to function like they usually could, we knew the culprit but what could be done?
What followed was the alternative and natural route, but I also discovered how confusing the natural wellness world can be. There are countless products, therapies, and promises claiming to improve your health, yet many fail to deliver the results people hope for. When you're struggling and looking for help, it can be difficult to know who to trust, what information is reliable, and which approaches are genuinely worth exploring. And the costs...extortionate! I have spent thousands of pounds over the past 5 years, so I'm here to tell the whole truth and nothing but the truth ;) in hope of saving you time, money, and that all important energy!
